Step 10: CC Release Dates
The theory behind the Creative Cloud was that software could be released as Adobe finished it. This would allow a new version of Photoshop to be released prior to InDesign if it was ready. Adobe will no longer have to wait for all products to be ready before releasing one that is ready. This also means that there won't be a CC1, CC2, etc; everything will always just be CC. The Creative Cloud was initially launched with CS6 apps and the first real release of the next version of apps known as CC apps was in June 2013.
Turns out Adobe used a naming convention for Adobe CC versions.
